What time off will I be allowed to take part?

1 day paid leave will be offered to all participants. Any cyclists taking part in more than 1 day will need to use holiday allowance.

What is my fundraising target?

Every cyclist has been set a target of £500 to raise.

When do my sponsorship funds need to be paid by?

A deposit of £75 will need to be paid when setting up your Just Giving page, this will be used as your registration fee and commitment to taking part. The remaining sponsorship will need to be paid 2weeks prior to the event start date of 8th June.

What if I can't raise the fundraising target?

You will have access to the marketing promotion we create to promote the event and your participation on your own social media and just giving pages.

How do I set up my Just Giving page?

You can set up your Just Giving page through our Tour de Branch page www.justgiving.com/companyteams/RSTdB simply click on ‘join team’ to set up your own fundraising link.

What support will be available on the ride?

We have teamed up with a cycling pro called Andy Cook who is supporting us with planning the event and will then join us for the full 12days with his team of cycling pro’s, first aiders & mechanics.

What is included and supported by RS?

  • Hotel accommodation 1 night before the route you are cycling.
  • Meals including breakfast, lunch and energy boosters throughout the day (dinner is not included)
  • Support vehicles
  • First aid support
  • Mechanical support
  • RS project team representitives
  • RS volunteer team

What's not included?

  • Personal travel insurance (if required)
  • Bikes
  • Travel cost to route start point and route finish point
  • Additional accommodation cost if you are cycling more than 1 route.

How will the routes be rated in terms of difficulty?

Each route will be graded using a number rating from easier to most challenging by the external cycle event specialist. They will also carry out a full reccy of the route before the event begins.
